Believe it, or not: but there's no such thing as failure!
“Failures, repeated failures are the finger posts on the road to achievement.
One fails forward on the road toward success.”
~ Charles F. Kettering (1876-1958)
There's no such thing as failure - only outcomes ~ what a liberating thought!
If there's no such thing as failure, why should we fear it?
Some outcomes are desirable and other outcomes are undesirable. Both are clues to success and both contain lessons! The undesirable outcomes teach us what not to do next time; those outcomes that are pleasing to us, also contain lessons on what we did correctly and we should seek to repeat them.
"Many of lifes failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up."
~ Thomas A. Edison
Thomas Edison had 9000 attempts at creating the incadescent light bulb. He had a design in mind, he tested it and created an undesireable outcome; he learned what didn't work, changed the design and gave it another go... another 8,999 times!
Learn & change.... learn & change...
If you don't change your thought processes, beliefs or actions you'll keep getting the same outcomes - this is equally applicable to those people who succeed in life and those who do not.
So, when you press that shutter and get an outcome that was unintended, re-assess your set up and learn from it. If required, make changes and give it another go.... you'll create another outcome! What you learn from the outcome is you choice!
